OMG 😭 Amaka’s name is NEXT next year!

😱 THE VILLAGE WHERE GIRLS DISAPPEAR AT MIDNIGHT 🌑

♡ Her Name Is Amaka ♡

EPISODE 2 — CONTINUATION 🩸👣

“AMAKA… DON’T TRUST MAMA!” 😭💔

The words on the back of the paper made Amaka’s blood run cold.

She stared at the message written in her own future handwriting.

“Amaka… don’t trust Mama. Mama knows where the well is. Mama knows who takes the girls. Mama collected money for Adaeze…”

For several seconds, she couldn’t breathe.

“What?! Mama knows? Mama collected money?” Amaka whispered, slowly lifting her eyes toward Mama Nkechi.

Mama Nkechi stepped backward.

“Amaka, no! It is not true! Your future self is lying!” she shouted, her voice trembling.

Amaka held up the paper.

“THEN WHAT IS THIS?!”

Mama Nkechi opened her mouth, but no words came out.

Her hands were shaking.

And for the first time in her life, Amaka looked at her mother and felt afraid of the woman standing before her. 😨

Suddenly—

GBOOOOM! GBOOOOM! GBOOOOM! 🥁

A terrifying drumbeat echoed through the village.

Amaka rushed to the window.

“Ahhh! The midnight drum! Who is beating it?”

Mama Nkechi began to cry.

“The elders,” she whispered. “They beat it every birthday… when a girl disappears. They say the drum closes the road so that whatever takes the girls cannot return.”

Amaka’s heart pounded.

Then she noticed something outside.

Footprints.

Small footprints leading away from the compound and disappearing into the dark bush path.

She recognized them immediately.

They belonged to Adaeze.

And the path led straight to the old well behind the village hall. 🕯️

“Adaeze went to the old well,” Amaka whispered. “I must go there.”

She grabbed a torch and hurried toward the door.

But Mama Nkechi suddenly dropped to her knees and grabbed her leg.

“AMAKA, NO! DON’T GO THERE TONIGHT!”

Amaka looked down at her mother, tears gathering in her eyes.

“Why, Mama? What is hiding in that well? And what happened to my father?”

Mama Nkechi shook her head desperately.

“If you go there tonight, you will discover what took your father!”

Amaka’s entire body went still.

Her father?

The man everyone told her had disappeared years ago?

Before she could ask another question, she pulled her leg free.

“Mama, let me go! I must save Adaeze! If I don’t save her tonight, I will be next next year!”

She flung open the door.

And froze.

Standing directly in front of her was the old man from the shrine.

His face was expressionless. His clothes smelled of smoke and damp earth. In one hand, he held a piece of paper.

The same list.

The list of girls who had disappeared.

“Amaka,” he said coldly, “you opened the letter from the future.”

Amaka tightened her grip on the torch.

“What do you want from me?”

“You have only two hours to bring Adaeze back,” he replied. “After that, her name will be crossed from this world forever.”

Amaka stared at him in horror.

“How… how do you have the same list?”

The old man slowly lifted his eyes toward hers.

A chilling smile spread across his face.

“Because I wrote it ten years ago…”

He paused.

“…with your father’s blood.”

“AAAAAAAAAH!” Amaka screamed. 😱🩸

Behind her, Mama Nkechi began sobbing uncontrollably.

But the old man wasn’t finished.

He leaned closer to Amaka and whispered words that made the entire world seem to stop.

“Your father wasn’t the first person to disappear into that well, child.”

Amaka swallowed hard.

“Then who was?”

The old man turned toward the darkness.

And from somewhere deep inside the bush, a little girl’s voice called out:

“AMAKA… HELP ME!”

It was Adaeze.

But there was something terribly wrong with her voice.

It sounded as though she were calling from beneath the ground.

The old man’s smile disappeared.

“It’s too late,” he whispered.

Then every lamp in the village went out at once.

And from the direction of the old well came three slow knocks.

KNOCK. KNOCK. KNOCK. 🌑

Amaka raised her torch.

Mama Nkechi screamed behind her.

And the old man spoke the words Amaka would never forget:

“Whatever is inside that well knows your name.”
