½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

¾ cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar, packed

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup all-purpose flour

¼ cup cocoa powder

¼ tsp salt
Instructions
Step 1 – Preheat oven
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 24-cup mini muffin pan.
Step 2 – Melt butter and chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals. Stir until smooth.
Step 3 – Add sugars
Add granulated sugar and brown sugar. Mix well.
Step 4 – Add eggs and vanilla
Add eggs one at a time. Mix after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
Step 5 – Add dry ingredients
Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 6 – Fill muffin cups
Spoon batter into mini muffin cups. Fill each about ¾ full.
Step 7 – Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and center is still slightly soft.
Step 8 – Cool
Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Pro Tip
Do not overbake. The bites will continue cooking from residual heat. Centers should look slightly underdone when removed.
