I was cleaning out an old house recently when I came across something I absolutely couldn’t explain.

The house was built in 1907, so I expected to find plenty of interesting things hidden away—old newspapers, forgotten tools, antique hardware, maybe even a few coins.

But this object stopped me in my tracks.

It was tucked away in a place that clearly hadn’t been disturbed for decades.
