Ingredients
- 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate drumsticks in buttermilk for 30 minutes.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, and all spices.
- Coat each drumstick in flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 350°F.
- Fry for 12–15 minutes until golden and internal temp reaches 165°F.
- Drain on wire rack. Serve hot.
