Instructions
Step 1 – Pat fish dry
Use paper towels to dry the fish fillets completely. This helps the coating stick.
Step 2 – Prepare coating mixture
In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Step 3 – Prepare egg wash
In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Step 4 – Coat the fish
Dip each fillet into the egg wash. Then press into the flour mixture until fully coated on both sides.
Step 5 – Heat oil
Heat ½ inch of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 6 – Fry the fish
Place fish fillets in hot oil. Fry for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
Step 7 – Drain
Place fried fish on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil.
Step 8 – Serve
Serve hot with lemon wedges and keto tartar sauce.
Pro Tip
Do not flip the fish too early. Wait until the bottom is golden brown so the coating stays intact.
