4 pork chops

½ cup brown sugar

3 tbsp butter

1 tsp garlic powder

½ tsp black pepper

Instructions
Step 1 – Season chops
Rub pork chops with garlic powder, paprika, pepper, and salt.
Step 2 – Melt butter
Heat a pan over medium flame. Melt butter completely.
Step 3 – Cook chops
Add pork chops to the pan. Cook for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 4 – Add brown sugar
Sprinkle brown sugar over the chops. Stir gently to coat.
Step 5 – Caramelize
Cook for 2 more minutes until the sugar melts and becomes thick and buttery.
Step 6 – Serve
Serve hot with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
Pro Tip
Do not flip too early. Let the chops sear properly so the sugar caramelizes nicely.
